what informs your life

sometimes i think of something i once read in an album's liner notes:
"all the love in my heart to my friends and family who make my life possible"

i adore rita. she brings me coffee and sushi and tells me beautiful stories of chinese celebrations of the full moon.
(shameless plug: if you're in wadsworth, ohio, please check out her and her husband leon's excellent restaurant, kasai)

ms. k - i, too, had simpatico on cassette. it alternately reminds me of my last year in high school and getting up waaay too early in olympia, washington. i'll burn you copies and include them in peppermint's next care package.

anon - i miss you, too, my sweet. i am plotting a leisurely drive to athens to be dazzled by the colors and slowly sip damn fine coffee across from thee at donkey.

simpatico reminds me of the summit county mall, which is where i bought it, and of the jazz band, which is why i was there (we were playing christmas music for unfortunate holiday shoppers). and it also reminds me of thinking of myself as uberhip, because someone else on the jazz band trip bought pearl jam, which i thought of as altogether too mainstream.

anyway, i would LOVE a copy... thanks!!
